The much-anticipated AI Conclave at RCMB was held on the 28th of March, 2026. More than learning what AI is, what AI does or what AI can do, we had a great opportunity to learn how to create our own AI agents, how we could use AI to our best advantage and how to make the most of it. Learning AI has become essential and we must understand how it is reshaping job markets.

Distinguished industry experts and academicians presided over the session and shared their valuable insights. Beginning with Mr. Naveen Duggal, currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Spar Hypermarket, India, he brings expertise in financial oversight and strategic planning within the retail sector. Second, we had Mr. Mahadevann Iyerr, Director at Maavrus and Former Senior Vice-President at Lifestyle as well as ex-Head of Operations at TESCO. All the experts emphasized the importance of creating AI agents and using them for our benefit such as automation, complex problem-solving, decision-making and even as thinking partners. The later part of the workshop was a hands-on session in which students created their own AI agents. With the advent of AI, the nature of jobs is changing day by day and it is crucial for us to keep pace with global developments and upskill accordingly. The session concluded with the certificate distribution ceremony.RCMB makes every effort to integrate education with real-world exposure, ensuring that students are well-prepared to meet the demands of an evolving industry—and there is much more to come.
